MEDIA COMPETENCE TRAINING
Digital conflicts such as problematic class chats, cyberbullying or dealing with social media are part of everyday school life and are increasingly challenging for teachers.
This training course offers practical support in dealing with precisely these situations – using concrete case studies and directly applicable approaches for teaching.

Some of our topics:
2. Dealing with cyberbullying
Insults, humiliation, or the sharing of private content are a reality in many classrooms. This article focuses on how to deal with such incidents pedagogically, concrete intervention strategies, and preventative approaches in the school context.

3. Understanding social media
Platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Snapchat shape the everyday lives of many students. This training will explore the content, trends, and challenges currently playing a role there – to give teachers more confidence and understanding of their classroom's media-based world.

1. Professionally support class chat
Digital conflicts among students often occur outside of school, but they have an impact on classroom instruction. This training demonstrates ways to identify conflicts in chat early, classify them professionally, and resolve them together with the class.

Participants will learn how to:
professionally assess digital conflicts in a school context.
respond appropriately to cases of cyberbullying and take preventive action.
Recognize false information and address it methodically in class.
classify and reflect on current social media trends.
respond pedagogically and safely to digital challenges in everyday school life.
